1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ / 4 inch Rubicon Express Lif
1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a 4" Rubicon Express Lift & 33" BF Goodrich A/T's
When this Jeep came in it had many qualities associated with most Jeep Wrangler YJ's. One of them is that over time/mileage the once lively leaf springs that sit under each axle, where completely flat and sagging causing a less then satisfactory ride. This will also cause the shocks to work over time eventually leading them to early failure.
So the owner decided to bring this Jeep back to life by adding a fresh suspension along with tires. The factory suspension was replaced with a Rubicon Express Lift Kit that nets around 3.5" - 4" inches taller then stock. At this point she was able to mount a really nice set of 33x12.5R15 BF Goodrich A/T's on a set of 15x8 ProComp Series 51 Rock Crawler powder coated black steel wheels. To keep those wheels undercover a set of Rugged Ridge 7" Fender Flares. We also added a new set of extra beefy 3/8" thick M.O.R.E. (Mountain Offroad Enterprises) Greaseable Shackles to keep up with the trails and replace the factory tin thin shackle set-up. Lastly we added a new steering stabilizer to avoid any steering shimmy at higway speeds.
Once this was complete this Jeep had an entirely new outlook and was ready to hit the trails just as easy as the highway.
