Sept. 26, 2009 6TH ANNUAL JEFF DANIEL'S JEEP SHOW

Hello everyone in Jeep world!
Everyone is winding down with all the summer fun, but cheer up you have something to look forward too, Jeff Daniel's Jeep Customizing is planning a huge Jeep party on September 26th. That’s right, we are throwing the biggest Jeep party there is with tons of Jeeps, food, fireworks, live music, activities for the family and you! While it may not rival the Phillies Championship parade of last year we will give it our best shot. Our show on September 26th 2009 at our home base in Harleysville PA is quickly becoming an annual do-not-miss event. We have stepped it up a notch this year and expect this show to be bigger and better than ever. We love Jeeps, our customers and meeting new people who have a similar passion for Jeeps as we do here at Jeff Daniel's Jeep Customizing. We set this day aside to give back to you and our community. This season entry into the Jeep show is still free for spectators and passengers but all participating Jeeps will be asked to pre-register for only $15 (Download form here) per Jeep up until September 15 or $20 registration fee after September 15 until the day of the show. So come on out and celebrate another year with us because without you there would be no Jeff Daniel's Jeeps. Thank you!
As far as we’re concerned, all Jeeps are created equal. At this show, any and all types of Jeeps are invited to enter and attempt to win a prize. Even if you don’t think your Jeep is prize worthy, please enter anyway so you are in the middle of the action. This is a great day to view all types of Jeeps from Grand Cherokees to Wranglers to CJ’s and classic/vintage military Jeeps. Prize categories include Best in Class, Most Extreme, Best Girls Jeep and more. This is one great day and voting is done by registered Jeep owners like you, so you’ll want to be there. In an effort to have a class for every type of Jeep enthusiast, Jeff Daniel's has 20 categories this year. This way we can assure there will be a class just for you and your Jeep! We also have 3 additional awards that will be given out to other selected attendees.

Questions and More Importantly Answers:

Q. When and where is this show going on?
A. The 6th Annual Jeff Daniel's Jeep Customizing Show will be held September 26th at our facility 495 Indian Creek Road , Harleysville PA, 19438 from 1pm to 8pm.

Q. Can I bring a trailer?
A. Of course, although we cannot park the trailers on our property due to space, there will be a designated parking area for trailers. You will need to unload your Jeep there and drive it a very short distance to the show. If you are not street legal or not licensed, you will be fine for that short distance on that day.

Q. What does this cost?
A. The registration fee will be $15 for pre-registered Jeeps on or before September 15 or $20 after September 15 until the day of the show. We encourage pre-registration as it helps us with our numbers. Admission for passengers and spectators is free. This event is near and dear to us and gives us an opportunity to give back to our valued customers and friends. There will also be food available for purchase as well as raffles and prizes. Sorry, no vendors.

Q. I don’t have a Jeep, but I would love to come, can I?
A. Yes! The biggest part of this event is an appreciation of the Jeep brand, it’s our common bond, so everyone from the Jeep owner to the walk in family are welcome. We want you to leave having a better understanding of that this Jeep thing is all about. Besides, the band and fireworks are worth the trip on their own!

Q. Is this a beer swigging macho fest or can I bring the family?
A. Leave the beer at home and bring the kids! Jeff Daniel's Jeeps is family owned and we believe in involving the whole family in this day. There are a ton of activities for the kids including paint-a-jeep, moon bounce, magician, and face painting.

Q. What should I bring?
A. If you have a Jeep, bring that. Some things we think make the day more enjoyable are a camping chair, blanket, sunscreen, camera, wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, grandparents, kids etc… Please no pop up tents. Sorry but we just don’t have the room!

Q. What shouldn’t I bring?
A. There are very few restrictions for our party; we just ask that you leave the alcohol and animals at home.

Q. Will you have food?
A. There will be quality affordable food available (not run-of-the-mill fried foods either). There will be a few local vendors selling some local delicacies.

Q. Does my Jeep have to be show quality?
A. No way! All Jeeps are welcome. We have categories for everything from fully customized to stock vintage. This event is run by Jeep lovers so we love them all. You may not think you have a winner, but you never know! Even if you don’t think you can win, if you register you will be in the middle of the action!

Q. What’s with the Open Class and Limited Open Class categories?
A. We are trying to make sure that everyone has a category to enter their Jeep. This is part of the unifying feel of our show, no one is excluded. We wanted a place where you could pit your Jeep against the exact same model (i.e. CJ-7 Class), but we also wanted to give your jeep the opportunity to compete against other models with owners that have a similar mind set in their build-up and use of their Jeeps. For example you may have a nice YJ with some modifications done, but they are specific to outdoor adventures, the Adventure Class would be an option as would the YJ Modified Class or even the Girl’s Jeep Class if you are a woman. “Open Class” means any model of Jeep can enter that category. “Limited Open Class” that any model of Jeep can compete in that category but there is limitations to the year of the vehicle.

Q. Can I change classes when I get to the show?
A. We would prefer that you don’t. Please check out all the categories in advance so you know exactly where you should be in the show. It is a great help to us and makes the day run much smoother if everyone pre-registers and sticks to the category they have picked. In case of a glaring over site, it is also with in the jurisdiction of the head of the registration crew to ask you to move to the correct category for your Jeep.

Q. Do I have to pre-register?
A. We would prefer, for planning purposes, if you did but it is not necessary. Pre-registration for your Jeep very important so we have an idea of how many Jeeps we are going to have. Here is the registration form, fill it out, print it out, and either mail it, fax it, or drop it off with your check or cash at our shop; 495 Indian Creek Road, Harleysville PA, 19438
